ABOUT US

Founded in 2023 by Isabelle, Selekt was created with a simple idea — to bring something different to the Queensland automotive scene.

Our first event was held with a purpose beyond cars. A charity meet raising funds for cancer research and supporting a family who had lost their son to cancer, it set the foundation for what Selekt would become: a community built around passion, connection and giving back.

Our second event was a smaller gathering created simply for the love of cars. Our third returned to where we started — giving back — raising enough to provide 13 weeks of cancer treatment for a friend diagnosed with leukemia.

Now, Selekt is evolving.

Our next event moves beyond the traditional car meet, transforming the automotive showcase into an immersive indoor experience — designed to feel more like an art exhibition than a car show. Every detail is considered, from the cars and their presentation to the atmosphere, styling and overall experience.

Selekt was born from a desire to bring curation, quality and creativity to Queensland's automotive scene. A space where enthusiasts can genuinely appreciate the culture, the craftsmanship and the people behind the builds.

We’re also introducing a new relationship between automotive culture and fashion*— bringing chic, street-style influences into the scene and creating a culture that exists beyond the car park. Something you can wear to a showcase, a night out or a nice dinner.

Selekt is more than a car event. It's a curated expression of automotive culture, fashion and community.
